The Russian customs authorities together with the Ministry of transport of the Russian Federation and other state authorities are working to reduce the time required for conducting customs inspection of trucks to 10 minutes.

A comprehensive action plan is aimed at modernization of priority automobile checkpoints located on the customs border of the Eurasian Economic Union, creating a unified information system for state control bodies introducing digital solutions in border clearance processes and optimizing state control technologies.
