Today, the configuration of foreign economic relations has radically changed.The positions of the EAEU and CIS countries have significantly strengthened in Russia's foreign trade. The Public Council takes an active part in the dialogue with professional business associations in the customs sphere of the CIS and EAEU countries in order to improve the mechanisms of foreign trade and customs administration.
The Public Council strongly supports such interaction, which contributes to the formation of a customs space with clear and uniform rules between states, contributes to the creation of a platform for comfortable business, including the Russian one.
In all countries friendly to Russia, various processes and best practices are taking place today, including in the customs sphere, it is necessary to borrow, refine and implement. The Public Council proposes to move from dialogue to the implementation of joint specific projects. Among the issues discussed:
- striving for uniform customs regulation;
- improvement and development of the institution of an authorized economic operator;
- new digital developments in the field of foreign economic activity;
- improving interaction between businesses and regulators both within their own state and between partner countries;
- business should not just participate in the development of regulatory legal acts,
- but put forward initiatives so that not only the interests of government agencies are taken into account, but also the needs of the real sector of the economy;
- proposals for the introduction of self-regulation into the customs sphere.
